We can do everything "right", eat exactly as our specific body needs; cut the sugar, cut the gluten, no alcohol, practice healthful, conscious eating, and STILL we have symptoms. Why? Because it's not just about food, it's not just about exercise, it's about how you digest life. Your mental stress, your psychological blockades put in place over the many years of relationships in your life, all have an impact on your body's ability to function optimally. We are all balls of energy, and when energy is blocked, symptoms of all kinds arise. Take it upon yourself this year to recognize, and connect with this concept; but more effort into balancing this "energy", ALONG with your diet and lifestyle, and see how much more success you have.
5 Steps to lightening your being in 2015.
#1. Identify your stressors!
Possibly the hardest part, is acknowledging and recognizing WHAT, WHO is causing you the most physiological impact.
#2. Process your options on how to let go of your stressors!
Also, extremely challenging, usually difficult, and not something most of us are ready to make a... change on. It is up to you to take the steps to change your patterns, change your mind, and thus change your physiological response.
#3. Get the necessary support you need in order to take action!
You can not do this alone. Period! Whether it's friends, family, a therapist...whomever it is that you need to speak, express, and be heard. Most importantly be understood and supported.
#4. LET GO of your stressors!
Now that you've identified, and figured out how you actually have to take action in letting go...make the changes to let go! Easier said than done, as these are typically habitual, deeply inherent lifestyle patterns that are no longer serving you.
#5. Go with the flow!
There is only so much of life that you "make happen" the rest of it "happens to you". So now that you've spent so much energy in healing and changing yourself for the better, sit back and let the universe do some work for you. You will be amazed at what you can do, how you can feel, and where life takes you if you just listen, and take action when called on.
